Steyr series marine emergency
The power range of Weichai Steyr series marine emergency gensets is
150-300KW.The gensets is used the engine reserached,developed &
manufatured by Weichai Group independently,and the optional brand
name generator like Sanbo,Marathon,Siemens or Stamford
generator.All gensets manaufacturing @ testing is carried out as

1. Good appearance, compact strong power, high reliability and
parts generality, easy to replace and convenient to service.
2. Marine emergency instrument boxes show reliable performance. The
function of self-starting can be realized. In automatic state, once
gen-sets detect the fault of main power, they automatically conduct
the following actions: starting, raising speed, sending switching
signals, and the time from the gen-sets detecting the fault to
sending switching signal is not more than 45 second. When gen-sets
detect that the main power returns to normal, they automatically
conduct the following actions: sending tripping signals,
decelerating, cold machine running for 120 seconds and then halt.
At the same time some parameters of speed, oil pressure and water
temperature can be displayed and gen-sets can achieve alarm

REMARK:The other speciall requirements you need can be

1. Requirement for seat:the surface of seat to install generating
set should be rather flat.
2. The marine generating set should be fastened with bolts on the
base which is strong and horizontal.
It is forbidden to weld the seat of generating set to the genset
support in the engine room of ship.
3. The inner diameter of engine exhaust pipe is over 105mm,and the
syphon of exhaust pipe is over
90°.Syphon should not excceed 3.The exhaust pipes should have
supports to protect silencer and
turbocharger from stress.
4. The inner diameter of seawater pipes should be over 45mm.The
connecting between engine and
seawater pipes should be tubes instead of rigid connection.
